When shopping on Amazon US and forwarding with Buy&Ship, we recommend completing the Amazon account settings below in advance. This ensures Amazon only delivers during business hours, helping to prevent couriers from leaving packages outside the door outside business hours — so your order arrives safely at our US warehouse and gets forwarded to you smoothly.
Amazon Settings to Ensure Your Package Arrives Safely
💡 At checkout, do not select a delivery time-slot option like the one highlighted in red below. This delivery may be handled by an independent third-party courier, who could still deliver outside the US warehouse’s business hours and may leave the package outside the door before leaving.
Choose the “no specified delivery window” option outside the red box instead — it offers better protection for your package.
Steps to Set Delivery Within the US Warehouse’s Business Hours
Step 1: Go to and log into Amazon US, then click Account & Lists in the top right corner
Step 2: Click Account settings, then click Your addresses
Step 3: Go to Your addresses, enter your Amazon / eBay warehouse address, then click Add delivery instructions
Step 4: After clicking Add delivery instructions, a settings panel will pop up. Fill in each field as follows:
- Property type: select “Business”
- When is this address open for deliveries?: for Monday – Friday, select “9:30 AM to 4:00 PM”; for Saturday – Sunday, select “Closed for deliveries”
- Can this address receive deliveries on federal holidays?: select “No”
- Where should we leave your packages at this address?: select “Property staff” (if this option isn’t shown directly, click Show more options to expand the list)
Step 5: Click Add more instructions
Step 6: Click “Do we need additional instructions to deliver to this address?”, then paste the following into the Delivery instructions field:
Please do NOT leave the package if nobody is there to receive it.
Finally, click Save instructions to save your changes.
