This is a hub dynamo compatible with center-lock disc brakes and straight spokes. I have been using Shimano hub dynamos, but I was dissatisfied with the large number of spokes and the limited spoke width options because they are J-bend. For rides mainly on paved roads, I sometimes want to build wheels with mid-height/deep rims + aero spokes, so I imported four straight-pull compatible hubs. For complete wheels using the same hub dynamo (GR1600/G1800 SPLINE), there is only one option with a rim height of 25mm, but since I build them with a height of 40-50mm for long distances, I buy only the hub and build the wheels myself. The driving resistance of the hub dynamo feels like it uses 7-8W of power to generate 3W, making even a slight incline of less than 1% feel like a gentle climb. You will hardly feel any load on downhill sections. The purchase price was about 135 euros per unit, but international shipping fees, payment fees (about 36 euros), customs duties, and domestic consumption tax (about 6,000 yen) were incurred. Perhaps, the cost added to the selling price on online shopping sites like BIKEINN is about the same.
